Frequently asked

How long is the walking tour?
About 2 hours and 4 km, going from the Ice House (Vivekanandar Illam) up to the lighthouse and back along the surf line.
What time does the tour start?
Sunrise tours start at 5:30 am during summer and 6:15 am in winter. Exact meeting time is shared on email confirmation.
Is swimming part of the tour?
No. Marina has strong undercurrents and swimming is officially prohibited. Wading at the surf line is fine — keep an eye on the rip warning flags.
What should I wear?
Light cotton clothing, sandals or barefoot-friendly shoes (you'll walk on sand), a cap and sunscreen. Modest dress is appreciated as Marina is a community space.
